DIVISIONS & PLACEMENT
Teams may register for A, B or C level competition. Please select the level that most accurately reflects your team’s current level of play.
Our goal is to create competitive divisions with closely matched teams. USYSC reserves the right to combine or adjust divisions when necessary based on registration numbers and team level.
Each division is planned for approximately four teams, giving each team a minimum of three games while keeping the tournament manageable and competitive.
TOURNAMENT RULES
Our tournament follows standard futsal rules with a few modifications for youth play and tournament scheduling. Coaches are responsible for reviewing the complete rules before tournament weekend.
QUICK RULES OVERVIEW

Games are played 5v5: 1 goalkeeper + 4 field players

30-minute games with a continuous running clock

No halftime or team timeouts

Minimum of 3 players, including a goalkeeper, required to play

Unlimited substitutions on the fly

Sideline restarts are kick-in, no throw-ins

4-second restart rule applies

Goalkeepers may not punt or drop-kick the ball

Indoor/futsal shoes only, no outdoor cleats

Slide tackles against an opponent are prohibited

Yellow and red cards may be issued for misconduct

Group play uses 3 points for a win, 1 for a tie and 0 for a loss

Championship/elimination games tied after regulation go directly to penalty kicks

Referee decisions on matters of play are final
SPORTSMANSHIP
USYSC expects appropriate conduct from players, coaches and spectators throughout the tournament. Abusive language, threats, fighting or inappropriate behavior toward referees, players, coaches, tournament staff or spectators will not be tolerated.

VENUE
St. Sava School & Cultural Center | Milwaukee, Wisconsin
All games will be played indoors in St. Sava’s newly remodeled gymnasium.
PARKING
Free parking is available on site at St. Sava School & Cultural Center. Please allow extra time for parking during peak tournament hours.
TEAM CHECK-IN
Coaches should check in upon arrival and have their team roster available. Any required tournament materials will be provided at check-in.
ARRIVAL
Teams should arrive at least 30 minutes before their first game and be ready to take the court at their scheduled game time. Please allow additional time for admission, check-in and getting players settled.
ADMISSION

FOOD & BEVERAGE
Come hungry! Our concession stand will be open throughout the tournament with traditional Serbian favorites, hot food, snacks, sweets and drinks available for purchase.
Look for ćevapi, palačinke and other homemade Serbian specialties, along with familiar tournament day concessions for players and families. Food and beverage sales directly support United Serbian Youth Soccer Club and our programs.
Please, no outside food or beverages inside the facility. Water is permitted.
